Focus IT Recruitment have the pleasure of working with this WELL established IT Solutions Company. The client is seeking a 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer to compliment their existing team. The role will provide 2nd line technical support to internal and external customers and to ensure all service targets and service levels are met.
To qualify for this role you must have excellent experience with Exchange Server 2003 / 2007 / 2010 and Microsoft Windows Server 2000/ 2003/ 2008. You will have minimum 3 years support exposure within PC Desktop and Server Support. The ability to resolve network problems especially internet connectivity and Firewall issues is essential. Alongside these skills you will also be proficient in MS Windows NT Workstation, Windows 95 / 98 / 2000, XP Professional, Vista, MS Office and common windows based applications. Any exposure to Blackberry support, Mac OS / OSX or Linux Notes would be advantageous to your application.
Please note it is essential whoever applies for this role MUST have good MS Exchange experience.
This is a 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer role and can also be known as a Support Analyst, Network Engineer, Systems Administrator, Server Support Specialist, Service Desk Engineer, Support Desk Engineer and Exchange Specialist.
This role is based in London and is also commutable from Middlesex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hampshire and Berkshire.
