The Company:

Focus IT are very pleased to announce they are working with this very well established and global leader of Market Data Company.  My client is internationally recognised for their services and industry leaders.

The Role:

•           Drives client satisfaction targets for clients through the development of client relationships and performs deep analysis and interpretation of data to provide insights and added value.

•           Drives client servicing process, executing against agreed objectives to deliver proficient presentations and on-site services.

•           Accountable for the driving of sales and is responsible for revenue and profit targets.

•           Mentors and coaches on and offshore colleagues to produce solutions to meet client business issues.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Client Servicing

•           Accountable for the driving of sales and is responsible for revenue and profit targets.

•           First point of contact for the client relationship, accountable for managing expectations of the day to day contacts with regard to service levels and project deliverables, consequently contributing to the achievement of client satisfaction targets.

•           Participates in the development and implementation of client plans that fully supports the clients’ own objectives.

•           Executes against agreed objectives to deliver solution oriented services that reflect both client needs and maximise One Nielsen opportunities.

•           Performs deep analysis and interpretation of data to provide insightful responses to client queries.

•           Ability to integrate data knowledge from different sources. Supports sharing of knowledge and best demonstrated practices.

•           Develops deep industry knowledge related to clients’ businesses, understands strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats faced by key market players.

•           Finalises and delivers thought provoking presentations that reflect strategic client needs in liaison with own Manager / team.

•           Ability and experience to service and add value to client directly through onsite presence. Is able to challenge and spot new sales opportunities.

Relationship Management

•           Builds and maintains strong long-term relationships with client representatives.

•           Builds and maintains good relationships with direct client facing colleagues and with offshore support peers to ensure quality and timeframe service levels are met or exceeded.

•           Manages good working relationships with specialists in GBS, NIS, AAC, RMS, CR, BASES etc.

 General          

•           Mentors and coaches their on and offshore colleagues to produce solutions to meet client business issues.

•           Manages workload independently and effectively prioritises client commitments alongside internal commitments.

•           Ability to identify and solve issues, both for the client and internally.

•           Manages client and internal projects successfully from start to finish.

•           Ability to handle difficult conversations, and escalate to Client Team Manager as appropriate.

•           Sound understanding of the companies financials, and how own client impacts on this.

The Candidate:

You will be an experienced Client Service Manager with strong interpersonal skills and have a strong focus on client interaction.

A. Key Functional Skills/Competencies

•           Graduate or experience from The Nielsen Company and/or equivalent industry experience

•           Good understanding of FMCG industry and trends

•           Answers trained

•           Specialist in One Nielsen portfolio

•           Basic business acumen

•           Good sales, influencing and negotiating skills

•           Ability to analyse and interpret data in a challenging and insightful manner

•           Problem solving- and solutions oriented

•           Proficient in use of Microsoft Office tools

•           Highly numerate and accurate

•           Good organisational and time management skills

•           Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills

•           Confident with a high results and sales drive

•           Strong Business English knowledge, both verbal and written

The Location:
