The Company

Focus IT has the pleasure with working alongside this very well established It Outsource Company. Our client is one of the leading suppliers of computer systems to distributors, wholesalers and merchants in the UK.

The role

Due to continued planned expansion they are now looking to expand there current Technical division and requires another Support Desk Analyst to join the existing team. The Support Desk currently manages 25 sites covering issues from user administration, application errors, printer problems and much more. The role will require you to work on various CRM Systems and deal with incoming and outgoing support calls, along with working to SLA’s and guidelines set out for Support Desk. Customer interaction is a vital part of this position so therefore superb Customer service is essential!

Key Experience:
• Experience Supporting Printers.
• Experience supporting Mobile Devices, Ipads, IPhones, and Blackberries over the phone.
• Experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration
• Experience in Microsoft Exchange Account Administration.
• Experience supporting users in a Thin Client Based Environment.
• Experience supporting printers in a Citrix and or Terminal Services Environment.

PLEASE NOTE: My client provides support for international clients and therefore work on a shift pattern basis that covers hours from Sunday 5.30pm – Friday 8.30pm. The Shift pattern is yet to be confirmed and will be revealed soon, however there maybe times where you will be required to cover a late shift. In return you will get a 10% Shift Allowance!

The Candidate

You will be required to have around 1 to 2 years commercial experience in a support desk environment and multitasking. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience and preferably worked for an outsourced IT Company or similar.

There is a structured natural progression in place for all successful applicants.

This is an excellent opportunity for a 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer to utilise and build upon your skill sets within this rewarding and dynamic organisation.

The Location

The role is based in Northampton and is commutable from Bedford, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes and Luton/Dunstable. Ideally you must live within a 20 mile radius of Northampton.
