2nd Line Support Engineer – Support Desk Analyst – Milton Keynes – NEW
Focus IT has the pleasure with working alongside this well established IT Solutions Provider who are industry recognised within the UK.
Due to industry growth and winning new business we are urgently requiring another Technical Support Engineer to compliment their dynamic existing team. The role will require you to maintain their client base within the SME sector and handle all levels of IT issues and alongside this handle Systems Admin duties. The role will be office based.
You will be an experienced Support Engineer with around 2/3 years commercial experience with Microsoft technologies. You are required to have strong commercial knowledge of Microsoft applications (Windows 2000/2003/Servers, 2000/XP desktop, Citrix and Exchange). You must have Commercial experience with TCP/IP, Desktop Hardware to component level, VPN and worked on various Routers, Switches and Firewalls.
The successful candidate will be responsible for everything from possibly logging the initial call to resolution of the same and in doing so dealing with personnel at all levels both in house and from the client.
You must have a strong background in 1st/2nd line desktop support and exposure to working in a busy helpdesk enviroment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Desk Engineer seeking to utilise your skill sets within this rewarding and dynamic organisation.
