The Company
Focus IT has the pleasure with working alongside this well established global IT Services and IT support Company. The company deliver IT and maintenance support to an ever expanding client base providing one off projects such as office relocations to full IT support and management for their whole IT infrastructure, project management to consulting.

The Role
Due to industry growth and winning new business my client now requires a technical Account Manager to compliment their dynamic sales team. My clients customers demand the very best levels of support at all times. As an IT Account Manager or Business Development Manager you will manage a portfolio of existing clients and develop further business within them accounts, selling all products and services and acquiring new clients. As an experienced Technical Account Manager you will maintain and provide on-going customer support. As an IT Sales professional you will be providing IT solutions to clients in and around London from one off office relocations to on-going IT support and IT maintenance agreements.

The Candidate
The ideal account manager will have a strong technical background and either come from a previous technical position either within a help desk, technical support or similar. This will give you the knowledge to really understand the clients requirements, maintain, investigate and up-sell or cross sell where possible. As a technical account manager you will have knowledge of technologies such as WAN and LAN, Microsoft and Cisco networks, Microsoft third party server products (Exchange, VMWare, SQL, Citrix). You will have experience of Account management and new business development of clients with strong knowledge of IT support, support agreements, IT managed services and outsourcing. As an IT Account Manager or New Business Development Manager you will be an excellent communicator with strong influencing skills and capable of building lasting relationships with senior decision makers. The role is based in Central London and is commutable from all surrounding boroughs of London.

Salary
£30,000 – £48,000 Basic + Commission + Benefits
