My client are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join one of our talented client services teams providing the opportunity to work with their flagship B2B technology clients.
They work with some of the world’s leading technology brands including Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Logica and Canon. Customer centricity therefore is fundamental to everything they do. The key purpose of this role is to assist in the smooth running and management of the production department.
We are looking for a candidate with B-to-B marketing agency experience, that has a solid understanding of design, with an in-depth knowledge of print production and on-line collateral. The candidate needs to have an acute eye for detail and the ability to prioritise multiple workloads and last minute deadlines. A strong, reliable team player with good people management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Duties include:
To create estimates for all work including fully integrated pan-European marketing campaigns (with both on- and off-line elements) that include DM, POS, events collateral, promotional goods, on-line advertising, emails, animated stings, microsites etc.
These estimates typically comprise:
– Internal costs: strategy, design, copy, artwork, digital, account management and production.
– External costs: print, fulfilment, translations, purchase of images, promotional goods, exhibition graphics, photography, data purchasing, deliveries etc.
To manage the execution and delivery of all external purchases against the agreed budget and timelines. This will include liaising with suppliers, raising purchase orders, approval of printer’s proofs, briefing mailing houses and keeping the specific April-Six account manager up to date with the progress of their project (who in turn liaises with the client). Also dealing with any production issues/queries in a professional and timely manner.
Proof reading every piece of work regardless of format (e.g. DM packs, collateral, emails, websites, POS, etc.), once it has been signed off by the client and all other internal departments, to ensure accuracy prior to going out to print/delivery to the client. (Production is the ‘last line of defence’.)
You will be an experienced Senior Level Production Managerwho has ideally got 2+ years commercial experience as in production management with good agency and B2B exposure. You will be able to Multi Task, have an eye for detail and can work under pressure. My Client works close with several print companies so exposure to print production would be beneficial.

This role is based in Middlesex and commutable from London, High Wycombe, Marlow, Harrow, Slough, Reading, Uxbridge, Staines, Watford, West London and Greater London.
