DBA/Database Administrator (MS Excel/Access) – Oxford – NEW
Focus IT has the pleasure with assisting this consumer management organisation. My client is a multinational company across several continents, making them a key player within there industry.
To develop client technical solutions, integrate my client and non clients together to deliver unique client solutions, and manage the Trade Dimensions and Spectra master store database.
Key accountabilities for the role include:
Data management and data manipulation in MS Excel and MS Access
Analyse client requirements and come up with technical solutions to match
Integrate, own and improve the store database that drives Trade Dimensions and Spectra
Creation of bespoke databases that integrate different data sources together to deliver a harmonised client delivery
Creation and delivery of client specifications
Delivery of client solutions remotely or on-site
Be part of the development team in creating application in VBA and C# that will increase client productivity and improve the capabilities of our existing software applications
Be the expert in data integration
Exposure to data manipulation and data management with large data sets is required for this role.
The ideal candidate will have around 3-4 years commercial experience as a DBA and in specific good exposure to MS Excel or MS Access. Any knowledge of SQL or VBA will be beneficial towards your application.
