Field Service Engineer – Central London (MS Servers) – NEW!
The Company
Once again Focus IT has the pleasure with working alongside this well established IT Solutions Provider. My client has been established for 15 years and is industry recognised for their service level.
The Role
Due to company growth my client now requires another High Level Support Engineer to compliment their dynamic existing team. The role will require you to maintain their client base within the SME sector within the London district and handle all levels of Microsoft based support, both Field & London Office based Plus regular Customer site support days.
Key Skills:
• Experience of managing or supporting complex Infrastructures.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a Field service engineer supporting SME’s.
• Experience of working in a customer facing role
• Experience with All versions of Microsoft Windows Server technologies, Cisco (Desirable), VMware, (MCITP/MCSA Certified at least)
The role will give you exposure on various levels of Wintel environments.
The Person
You will be an experienced, educated Field Service Engineer with excellent communication skills – 3 or more years’ commercial experience with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems specifically Small Business Server (SBS) and Wintel. You are required to have strong commercial knowledge of MS Server Maintenance, upgrades and Installations.
The role will require you to maintain their existing client base within the SME and enterprise sector and handle all levels of client side & Server support, upgrades, & installs.
Any knowledge of VMware, Cisco and Citrix will be highly beneficial towards your application.
In return my client will offer you an excellent salary plus an Oyster card with 20 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday.
