Incident Manager / Risk Manager (ITIL) – Milton Keynes – NEW!
Focus IT have the pleasure with assisting this world leading financial and technical institute. My client is a global leader in payment processing utilising the latest technology.
Due to industry growth and planned expansion my client is looking for an Incident Manager to join the existing the Business Risk Management Team and will report into the Senior
Compliance Officer. You will be the point of contact for all incidents within my clients Services and will take responsibility for management, control and communication of all incidents.
The key duties for this role are as follows:
To ensure that all necessary information required to investigate the issue is present and to liaise with all stakeholders, where necessary and obtain a full understanding of the problem.
To evaluate the severity level assigned to the issue and to adjust that level in the light of any investigations as appropriate.
To analyse the problem in order to identify a potential resolution and to assist the resolving teams.
To own Incident & Problem management tools as per department guidelines and send regular updates with the relevant information as to the progress of the issue.
To manage and prioritise conflicting requests on individual workloads.
To keep their knowledge of the issues and problems up to date and relevant, with a commitment to increasing personal knowledge of their assigned areas of expertise.
To own any issue assigned throughout its lifecycle, and ensure that it is fully completed to the client’s satisfaction.
To attend regular meetings with other stakeholders to discuss outstanding issues and prioritisation.
To liaise with other departments within the business for advice and expertise relevant to each issue as appropriate.
This role would suit a candidate with previous experience in Incident/ Risk Management preferably from an IT background. You will have ideally 2 years + commercial experience and either ITIL qualified or familiar with ITIL Methodologies.
Any Previous experience in the Credit card or Financial Services industry would be highly beneficial towards your application.

Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 + Bonus + On call + benefits package
