Service Desk Analyst – 1st/2nd Line Engineer– (Night Shift) – NEW!
Once again Focus IT has the pleasure with working alongside this well established IT Solutions Provider. My client has been going for 15 years and is industry recognised for their service level.
Due to industry growth and winning new business my client now requires Service Desk Engineer to compliment their dynamic existing team. The role will require you to provide 1st/2nd line support to Managed service client’s in and around Milton Keynes to maintain and support from around 5 – 100 users in a Microsoft Windows 2008 / Exchange 2007 environment along with Small Business Server (SBS).
The role will cover working hours from 12am midnight until 8am morning. You will be responsible and on call point of contact for the smooth running of my clients and there clients IT infrastructure within this time.
You will be an experienced Helpdesk 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer with 2 or more year’s commercial experience, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems/ Windows Servers (Inc SBS). You are required to and have strong commercial knowledge of Windows Servers and Exchange Servers. Experience of Symantec Backup Exec & Symantec Anti-Virus or Citrix, Draytek, Blackberry would be an advantage. An MCSE/MCP qualification would be highly desirable and beneficial towards your application.
