Focus IT have the pleasure of working with this WELL established a niche multi-service law practice. Due to demand they are seeking an IT Support Technician to complement their existing support team.
The Role:
Due to industry growth, we now have a requirement for self-driven and highly motivated person to come in and build on their expertise in the IT sector and complement the existing team
Key responsibilities:
Working as part of a team; you will be reporting to your manager
Troubleshooting of software and hardware problems
Setting up new computers and connecting them to the office network
Providing excellent IT support for all other departments and staff
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this position will have at 1 years + experience within the support sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Software Developer to progress within this dynamic and rewarding organisation

Key skills are as follows:
Graduate in an IT related course
Problem Solving and analytical thinking
Troubleshooting computer systems and software
Good understanding of MS Office software
Experience in MS Windows System Support
Setting up computers and connecting them to networks
Able to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Ability to be flexibility in working hours and shift patterns to provide cover for operational requirements.
Fluent English and ability to communicate efficiently
Desirable skills:
Understanding of Programming, and ability to code in at least one programming language

Domain controller
VPN
LAN Architecture
Location: Manchester
The role is based in Manchester and is commutable from Preston, Blackburn, Bolton, Rochdale, Huddersfield, Stockport, Altrincham, Warrington, Wigan, Bury and all surrounding areas of Manchester.
