The Role:
This is an exciting and varied role suited to any SQL BI developer.
Working within a team, the principle role will be to assist the Manager\team in the delivery of BI solutions, either as part of a project delivery or day to day support tasks. The SQL BI developer will be able to understand the technicalities of the role and be able to contribute effectively to the overall team objectives.
Role requires you to do the following:
Assisting the Support Team as required for solutions that have been developed by the team
Liaise with business users to understand, document and develop requirements for BI solutions.
Perform other SQL related tasks within the Data Services team
Key Skills Required:
Microsoft SQL Server (SQL, T-SQL, Procedures etc.)
Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Develop SQL Views, Stored Procedures and Functions used by our Reporting Solutions
Strong, logical investigative skills.
Experience in using source control (SVN\TFS)
Provide ad-hoc analysis of data
Proficient in MS Excel
The competent use and understanding of standard office IT applications
The Candidate:
We are looking for a creative and experienced SQL Developer to join our growing team based in Wickford.
Your Skills and experience:
2+ years’ SQL Server experience required.
Assisting the Support Team as required for solutions that have been developed by the team
Liaise with business users to understand, document and develop requirements for BI solutions.
Perform other SQL related tasks within the Data Services team
