Service Desk Engineer /Helpdesk Support 1st Line – (SME Sector) – NEW!
Once again Focus IT has the pleasure with working alongside this well established IT Solutions Provider. My client has been going for 15 years and is industry recognised for their service level.
Due to industry growth and winning new business my client now requires a 1st line Service Desk Engineer to compliment their dynamic existing team. The role will require you to provide 1st line support to Managed service client’s in and around Milton Keynes to maintain and support from around 5 – 100 users in a Microsoft Windows 2008 / Exchange 2007 environment along with Small Business Server (SBS).
The role requires basic level of knowledge and application in:
• MS Windows Platforms
• MS Office Products
• MS Server Platforms
• Mobile Devices
• Networking & WiFi
• Routers and Firewalls
You will be experienced in 1st line Helpdesk Support with 6 – 12 months commercial experience, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems/ Windows Servers. You are required to and have commercial knowledge of Windows Servers and Exchange Servers. Experience of problem solving and communicating under pressure with end users would be highly desirable and beneficial towards your application.
The Ideal candidate will come from a MSP (Managed Service Provider) / IT Solutions Company background.
This is an excellent opportunity for a 1st line Helpdesk Support Analyst seeking to utilise your experience within this rewarding managed services organisation.
