My clients UK operations division has been set up for over 20 years and are still today growing from strength to strength.
Due to planned expansion we are now seeking another IT Support Engineer to join and compliment the existing support team. The role requires you to be responsible for providing helpdesk cover and closure of logged IS Helpdesk calls in a timely, efficient and customer oriented manner. Ensure the availability of PC/network/hardware infrastructure, and effect the implementation of new systems as required by business or IS Global or European direction. Support the Client Services Desk (CSD) to ensure that incidents are resolved within the agreed Global service levels. Support the team to ensure that all incidents, moves, changes and new starter requests are completed within the agreed service levels.

The role will entail working on a Helpdesk environment dealing with 1st/ 2nd level issues and occasionally visiting external customer sites if required.
We are seeking a well rounded IT Support Engineer who is willing to learn and progress within this rewarding and dynamic organisation.
The ideal candidate will have around 2 years commercial experience in 1st/2nd Line Support with exposure to desktop and remote support environments. You will understand windows technology and any exposure to server support would be highly beneficial towards your application.
