1st/ 2nd Line Support Analyst – £19k – £25k – Farnborough, Hampshire
Focus IT have the pleasure of working with this WELL established IT Solutions Company.
The client is seeking some 1st/ 2nd Line Support Analyst to compliment their existing team. You will be part of a technical helpdesk that supports the client’s products. The job role will be mainly telephone support, but from time to time there may be a need to provide face to face support. The role will involve logging calls on a CRM system and creating/ updating cases in the CRM system, from all calls that you take. You will be troubleshooting client related issues using resources available and reproducing errors and bugs. The role will also involve collecting information regarding customer problems to aid in troubleshooting and remote assistance for customers when required.
To qualify for this role you must have at least 1-2 year’s 1st/ 2nd Line Support experience and good exposure to Windows server 2000/ 2003/ 2008, Exchange and Outlook. You will be proficient in Microsoft technologies such as Windows (XP, Vista), Exchange and Outlook. Knowledge of Active Directory and basic networking will also be beneficial for this role.
This is a 1st/ 2nd Line Support Analyst role and can also be known as a Helpdesk Engineer, Support Analyst, 2nd Line Support Engineer, Helpdesk Analyst, Support Engineer and Technical Support.
The role is based in Farnborough, Hampshire and is also commutable from Aldershot, Farnham, Alton, Guildford, Reading, Camberley, Wokingham, Fleet, Basingstoke and London.
