1st/ 2nd Line Support Engineer – £18k – £22k – Reading – NEW!

The client is seeking a 1st/ 2nd line Support Engineer to compliment their existing support team. The role will require the right candidate to be responsible for all user support requests (including printers and toners) – software and hardware.
You will be responsible for new user requests and deactivation of accounts. Raising SAP user tickets with EMIS. The role also requires you to do mobile phone and laptop deployments as well as desk moves and PC and Laptop installations. Any exposure to Windows Server 2008 would be advantageous to your application.
To qualify for this role you will have at least 1 year 1st or 2nd line support experience. You will ideally be working currently for a small support team or a print or copier company.
This is a 1st/ 2nd line Support Engineer role and can also be known as Helpdesk Analyst, Support Engineer, Service Desk Analyst, Helpdesk Engineer, Support Analyst, 1st Line Analyst, 2nd Line Support Engineer and Helpdesk Support.
The role is based in Reading, Berkshire and is also commutable from Slough, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Basingstoke, Camberley, Aldershot, Newbury, Didcot, Hertfordshire, London, Middlesex, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire.
