The Company

Focus IT has the pleasure with working alongside this very well established IT Outsource Company. Our client is one of the leading suppliers of computer systems/software to distributors, wholesalers and merchants in the UK within the recruitment industry.

The role

Due to continued planned expansion they are now looking to expand there current operations & customer service division and requires another Customer Service/Helpdesk Analyst to join the existing team. Joining a busy recruitment IT outsourcing support desk, the primary function of this role is to be the first port of call for recruitment consultant questions ranging from technical problems with their recruitment applications to providing advice on how they can get the most from their systems.

You will be required to carry out database administration of the recruitment systems including daily/weekly/monthly checks, setting up and retiring user accounts and (after training) carrying out occasional out of hour fixes.

You will be required to log and keep records of customer queries/request on our call logging system. This will allow us to analyse the data to be able to see common trends and underlying problems so our client have the best support possible, allowing us to fix issue before they effect the client.

Please note that the role requires you to cover a day between 7.30am – 9.30pm, therefore you will be required to work alternative week shifts (e.g. 07.30-16.30 or 12.30 – 21.30)

The Candidate

You will be required to have around 1 to 2 years commercial experience in a support desk environment and multitasking. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

There is a structured natural progression in place for all successful applicants. Any Previous knowledge of the recruitment industry and the software applications used would be highly beneficial towards your application.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Helpdesk/Customer Service Analyst with good customer care and preferably recruitment exposure to utilise and build upon your skill sets within this rewarding and dynamic organisation.

The Location

The role is based in Northampton and is commutable from Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes. Ideally you must live within a 15 mile radius of Northampton.
